Rice Cracker Silly Faces

When I was three-years old, my mom and I made pizza faces. I just thought that was the coolest thing ever. I remember staring at all the vegetables, as I tried to decide what I would use for eyes and a nose. That was the moment I realized food could actually be fun. Suddenly, it didn’t matter to me that I normally disliked bell peppers. When they were shaped like a squiggly mouth, I had no problem eating them. Here a some fun ideas for fruit and veggie faces your kid will love..

Savory versions:

Rice crackers Avocado or Hummus Carrots Cucumber Cherry tomatoes Red bell pepper Olives Spread either mashed avocado or hummus onto the rice crackers, cut the veggies into fun shapes for hair, eyes, ears, etc. Let your child help to build fun and silly faces. Sweet versions: Rice crackers Almond Butter Nutella Berry jam mixed with chia seeds High-protein yogurt, I suggest Brainiac Kids Banana Strawberries Blueberries Pear or Apple Sunflower seeds Spread the nut butters, jam, or yogurt onto the rice crackers. Cut the fruit into fun shapes for hair, eyes, ears, etc. Let your child help to build fun and silly faces.
